Last Saturday we had Pioneer day for our Stake. I made the children and myself "costumes" to wear to it. (Hey, it's a lot easier to spot your children when you have four of them running around in the same outfit!) We enjoyed corn on the cob, watermelon, and different booths that were very fun and interesting. One of the best booths was the dessert contest booth where they had desserts galore!!! Everything from chocolate chip cookies to a beehive cake that somebody made. We decided to park ourselves in that corner of the festivities so that when the judging was done we could grab what we had been eyeing! YUMMY!

Other people from the ward brought homegrown fruits to share with everybody. We brought the peaches from our peach tree. They were gone within minutes!

There were old fashioned games that the children enjoyed and a quilting booth that had beautiful quilts that some of the ladys had made.

A friend of ours from our ward was taking family pictures of everyone.... it was so much fun!

Well, we have about 6more weeks left until our new baby girl joins the fun. Time has really flown by!

Sorry...no pictures yet..but we have great news!!!! No, the baby isn't here yet. (2 more months!) We just heard back from the city that our plans were approved to add on to our house! YEA!!!!!!! We will be adding on 2 more bedrooms, a bathroom and a family room! Something we have been waiting for, since space is getting really limited here! Now our children don't need to push eachother off the toilet. (not a pretty picture.)

We also did have 4 more arrivals into our family. :) We just got a puppy! He is a 2 month old Chihuahua/mini Doberman. We named him Speck. He is so cute!!! We absolutely adore him. He gets so much attention and thrives on being cuddled. (Which he does get to do most of the day.) He is white with brown spots and looks great in his bright red collar! :) We have taken pictures but will post them in a little bit.

Our other 3 arrivals are 2 chickens and a rooster! Anybody see Chicken Run? (The movie?) Well, we named them Ginger, Babs and Rocky. They are great pets and we love having them in our family. We can't wait for the rooster to start crowing... :) We were told that chickens eat scraps better than dogs...as it turns out..it's true! They scarfed down the leftover pancakes today...and do I dare mention it?...eggs. Yes....they even ate the rest of our scrambled eggs. Sooo, other than raising our chickens to be little cannibals, we are having fun, trying to rest in the heat and getting excited about our next arrival in Sept. (Sept 5th I will be induced!!) :)
